Where can I find inexpensive pottery wheels and art supplies?

I'm used to looking for an electric pottery wheel or inexpensive. I am also looking for art supplies like canvasses and paints. I'm on this new and I begin to paint, and my own pottery. I just do not know how to get started.

I agree completely with the idea in art classes on site, and with their wheels and kilns at first. You could also watch your local Freecycle group by Yahoo Groups. They help people get rid of their extra junk, and find things that members need for free – no cash, no barter, only a redistribution unnecessary and unwanted stuff for free. Many people spend much money on a hobby that they think is fun and rewarding, only to find that it is not their cup of tea. Some these people sell their stuff at yard sales. Others donate to local thrift shops, charities, or groups of artists, and some give the stuff away on Freecycle. Sometimes schools and art centers to sell their excess equipment at reasonable prices, and sometimes you can bargain at flea markets and thrift shops. Those who are handy or creative will have their own equipment and tools. Artist to qualify well as practical and creative, and I have a lot of my own stuff in the past made. I have seen plans online for building kick wheels, and I'm sure you could find some for the motorized ones. I am fortunate that I think sound directly from the refinery (when digging the right word for the people who they out of the ground, grinding it on, screen it, etc.). You could also try an ad in your local newspaper or online, or by adding a reference to a local bulletin board to say that you are interested in finding cheap or free art supplies. EBay has some good deals once in a while too. Good luck.
