Vanity organization ideas?
So I have this desk from a few years ago:

and I want to use it for storing my makeup and stuff. It has a hutch with 6 shelves so I need ideas for what to put in each of the shelves, as well as the 3 drawers.
I also need ideas for what to put in the shelves and drawers besides makeup.
Basically, I’m turning my desk into my vanity since I already have the fold open mirror for it. Please let me know your ideas

For your shelves you could put little containers to stand up your eye/lip pencils, or little stationary type box of drawers for bits and pieces. Just use any pretty containers, pretty pen holders, or old candle jars or boxes.
For makeup brushes I love the idea of standing them upright in a container on display, but instead of using beads use faux pearls from cheap necklace strings. Here’s a youtube vid with it so you can see what i mean

Put dividers in the drawers, cutlery-type ones work really well. Divide everything you have into type, like all the lipsticks together. Also it can be a cool idea if you have the right sized container to stand all your lipsticks on end, so you can see the description sticker on the bottom and pick out colours really easily.
