I have purchased at an estate sale a vase/jug made of clay, in Potomac, MD. I’d like to know a bit more…?
It was found on a farm years ago. It stands 15″ tall 13″ wide and weighs approx: 11 lbs. It has a protruding face on each side…one’s happy, the other is crying. I believe it is clay or earthenware.
There are no markings or evidence of being machine/pottery wheel made. It looks to be handmade. It is imperfect in many areas. Any information would be helpful…also….I’d like to upload pictures if possible.
