Asian Ceramics Marks … please help?
The following are links to 2 photos of the bottom two very old vases. I'm trying to figure out who she did. I have tried searching online and have had no luck. If someone could please help me some, I would appreciate it very much. Http: i157.photobucket.com/albums/t46/SusanSayl/pottery01.jpg / / http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t46/SusanSayl/ pottery02.jpg Thank you for the taking a brief moment, to help me.
Go to this page. Http: / / www.gotheborg.com / marks / index_marks.htm Scroll down toward the bottom, and look at the right side, where there are pictures of Asian brands porcelain. The second on the right side of the page (labeled in Japanese Fukagawa 19th cent.) Looks very similar to your pictures. There is another example Fukagawa mark on this page: http://aarf.com/feimar99.htm under the heading "The family and their Fukagawa Porcelain", which is about half way down.
