You need a BFA before you can get an MFA. An MFA is a Master's degree. You need the bachelors first. You want a pure art school in a major city, accredited, flexible and experimental, craft-oriented, etc. I like going to suggest some that I think you can really. My # 1 choice for you is the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. It is actually one of my favorite art schools, because while yes, it is maintained very well and good, it's also * very * flexible. Depending on the type of accounts you, you work with your advisor to your own schedule of courses . Plan The professors there are great. It is small enough that you do not feel like a number, but large enough to great resources, and it is not only in Boston, but It also shares some facilities with Mass Art. Can you say, I like that school? : Lol: I think that others may well have to adjust the Maryland Institute College of Art, Rhode Iceland School of Design, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, California College of the Arts and the New York State College of Ceramics (This is also a great glass fibers and Wood) at Alfred U. Cranbrook Academy suits you in every way, but I'm not sure Bloomfield Hills, Mich. It is a large enough city. But look at it. I have never been to Michigan, so I can not tell you whether it is the place cool. But Cranbrook has an amazing reputation in the fields you mentioned, and seems to other species also fit. Another I would like to tee off at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Well, not 100% is a fit, because it is really a university, no pure art school, but it looks * * like a pure art school. Maybe you should look. And it is an amazingly * * School of Applied Arts. to die prints, etc. Very strong.
