How can I tell a pottery mark on Japanese porcelain?
I have a set of beautifully decorated cups saucers and small plates with a Jug and a teapot. It was bought by my father in Japan just after delivery in the 2nd World War II. I have searched the internet and can not see the markings on the cup or plate. What sites are there to help me without charging money.
Made in Japan: If it is from Japan should be marked. Be careful may be, if it is radioactive era of the Second World War.
