How can I look up trademarks, icons are on vintage pieces … Makers marks .. some # 'd some some letters?

Year Ceramic wood ware, banks, etc etc. .. each mark means the manufacturer, date, etc. .. As I look at them? Please help .. sunny

Each area has its collector own handwriting and manufacturer brands. You have to find a specific book on the subject. Some are trademarks by national or international law in America, England, France, Germany, Russia, etc. etc. Some brands are showing the proportion of precious metal or of the required composition. Some show the country of origin. Some brands have registered with some government agency. Some are only unofficial manufacturer marked. There is not a place to find all the markings for all products. to try to a product at a time: silver, gold, ceramics, etc.
