What if you never stopped to ask yourself: "What I want to be when I grow up? "Only by the issue alive in your heart, you're very strong affirmation of the intention, life is about learning, growing and developing.
I love the ads that the media meet in September: "It is the best time of year …." Remember, the voltage and magic back to school: new clothes, backpacks and books, new teachers, activities and friends. The whole next level of learning was planned and waiting for you. Why did the stop order to adulthood, when we most need to learn new skills as parents, professionals and people from being a changing world? The challenges of life are at the complex, where are all the professors and teaching guides and to us the knowledge, skills and understanding, if they are the most important?
Such a moment, take the time to ask: "What I want to learn this year?" Opportunities for training are as out there, but you have to take and create your own curriculum. First you must choose your subjects, and think it, which nourish all of you. Not only Their intellectual side, but also your emotional, spiritual, creative and physical as well.
Academically, what you have always wanted to study? If You are fluent in a foreign language? There is to master new computer skills that you would like? What topics would you like to know about her? What Courses you have never pursue that wants to learn more?
Creative, the arts are all around you. How do you find beauty? It is through sound, location, Structure or flavors? Bring your inner child out to play and to pursue some creative outlets like painting, pottery, cooking, writing, or interior design.
Emotional, how would you like to grow as a person? Want to improve your parenting or relationship? Do you need to get a better grip on your anger or fear? Do you have to let go of old themes, pull down? Have you lost contact with your dreams and values?
Spiritually How do you want your inner spirit care? What feeds your soul? How much time effort for you daily or weekly spiritual? What kind of support, activities, groups or practices can help you revive your heart?
Physically, of course, none of the above can happen if you do not have the energy. Exercise creates Energy and clears the mind. How can you be active? What steps you can take to improve your health? How can I plan a pit in your day?
Take the time to write down several ideas in each of these categories. Just brainstorming without Edit your opinion, and note all the opportunities that come to mind. Think back to your school – what you love, you miss the opportunities you already were available? Then write your list and circle, what your heart and tweaks you an adrenaline rush momenary. Now this list is refined into a design for your dream curriculum for 2010-11. Do not forget to have everything do at once. What can not this semester, you can do in the next match.
Now you are ready for research, where to find these classes. Fortunately, Society no longer holds us brain dead at the age of 40. Today there are numerous opportunities for adult education. Many colleges and universities allow a vacancy in their classes are filled by adults not enrolled in their schools. There is also an unlimited virtual world out there, the classes online and by phone offers. Many communities have art centers that offer a variety of programs. Local churches, synagogues and mosques hold discussion groups and classes. Yoga and meditation centers are abound. Self-help groups and a variety of personal growth retreats diving everywhere. And many cities offer evening adult education in their high schools after hours. This Options are often economical, but if money is a problem then voluntary, honorary and volunteer some more. The best education is through experience and share your gifts.
First and foremost, you agree to be learning and improving in the foreground. Your personal growth will benefit all of you, your family, your colleagues, your community, and the people you serve. Clear your day planner full of unwanted, unnecessary energy drainers. to block in space and time to invest in your self. Are you your number an asset. And remember, you never stop to ask: "What I want to be when I're big"
