What floor would be best to install in a studio space, I will use for ceramics.?

I'm moving into a house where I conversion a bedroom in a pottery studio. i mainly hand to build. The room has carpet and I will remove it and put a more suitable ground. I was wondering what material would be best for wear, slippery clay situations and pollution control. Low cost is always a plus, too. There are plywood base under the carpet and the room is on the second floor

Vinyl. Definitely the easiest to clean, use a good acrylic polymer in wax, it could pick up spots of each Tone, or buy a dark color. I do not want it, you'll know, you sound better than I do. Sheet vinyl is best because there is no or very few seams added, but must be installed by a professional for best results. If you want to DIY, has self-adhesive vinyl planks Home Depot (do not peel 'n' Stick tiles) that I have in my house and they have done well. Good price and easy to install, easy to replace damaged sections. I have a chair cushion in the planks, when I realized that my habit of sitting on my chair I was rolling with sandy shoes not good for the soil. It floats, it is not glued down, such as vinyl sheet should. Ceramic tile was also a good choice and need not be expensive to buy, but depending on the room configuration, you will need to cut tiles to DIY so fit might be a pain can. And it will all have to be made up and it is difficult and you need to be sure your floor is strong enough to crack stones from his weight without bending handle.
