Italian Garden Design
A client in the hills outside world contracted to an Italian garden with a series of free, classic elements of the front Create and rear of their home. Her house was a classic Old World look to. It was a two-story structure with a porch and an upstairs balcony. Steps to the porch, led and shutters lined with curved tips of both the porch and balcony. A stately, old and very large oak tree grew beside the house, reaching up and over the roof of the house. The architecture and landscape have been an ideal setting for indigenous development of a European look and feel on the property.
We started with the installation of lights in the trees around the house in order illuminate the roof and balcony, and we put lights under the roof of the porch and terrace lighting the surfaces, walls and windows. We planted a small Italian garden in the front near the trees. In it we placed a variety of ground cover plants, shrubs and smaller, ornamental trees. This lent an organic sense, a very balanced and elegant structure, and helped develop the classical theme, we were asked to create. We have the design of the front with urns on both sides of the steps that have led up to the front door. The work, a sense of the great entrance, the create a sense of Roman antiquity and played classical design.
The home toward the front of the property was built, it was the majority the property behind the house. This offered plenty of room to develop an Italian garden with a range of functional and aesthetic elements that fit the lifestyle of the owner. The first thing we designed for them a plant, such as a small wall shaped to surround the rear edge of the home. This led to a casual seating area for the homeowner, that they have seen use as a point value to the landscape beyond. In the morning she could sit outside and watch the sunrise, while Drinking coffee and talking, or lean back and relax while reading the newspaper.
Just a few yards from this plant, we built a well. We have it as a Rectangle are still governs the motion of the House, for all the Italian gardens, follow the linear motion of the architecture and maintain a sense of order and proportion in continuity. Although the well presented very simple and compact proportions, we have seen much more dramatic and prominent by the installation of four water jets and 4 underwater lights, draw attention to them in the dark.
Around the fountain, we then laid a paver patio with a mixture of hard and soft landscape landscape . Pave This blended construction from the yard seem to be fading in the grass, and causes the inner courtyard and surrounding gardens more classic Italian look. The courtyard was Bull nose coping surrounded and inclined slightly to the planter walls that were built with invisible, 1-inch drain channel to provide a comfortable and unobtrusive means of water drainage. We then filled the space around the new patio and planters with an Italian garden with cypress trees and decorative handmade pottery.
At the other end of the property We concluded our project with an arbor, which functioned as a destination for outdoor entertainment and a terminus for the Italian garden design. The arcade was on a limestone terrace built, and was built by Permacast columns and a cedar ceiling. We installed a ceiling fan in the arbor, and decorated the patio with tables and chairs to a comfortable meeting place, offer to visitors.
A very unique feature was also at this arbor design has to be complete. The final piece was a mirror to look built like a window. Because the property borders a commercial lot that had a rather unattractive building on it, we wanted to create a sense of enclosure and a focal point, would draw the eye away from the eyesore behind the arbor. A mirror was found to be much more suitable for this purpose because they are both blocked view of the building, and it increases the apparent size of the Italian garden, fountains, barrels, and behind the house.
