I have a vintage horse head planter ceramic pieces marked – KKS 763 Japan on the ground. how much is it worth?
It is a brown horse head in a horseshoe with green clover on the side.
well, not with an image of the object, my * guess it's probably not worth very much. the fact that "Japan" in English says implies that it was produced for export. Probably falls within the range of the cheap souvenir industry boomed, the troops after the end of the 2nd World War II and the occupation of Japan by American. Although the horseshoe and clover (4 leaf?) Happiness mean, it's definitely a for export determined, probably mass-produced as the horseshoe has no special significance in Japanese culture beyond being what contributes to a horse on his feet -. A quick search on Ebay with keywords horse ceramic Japan is 5 hits with prices in the $ 5 10 range. $ I'm afraid that this isn't much help, but without further information it's the best I could do
