Help with explaining poverty to autistic children?

In my art class, we do a project called "pockets 4 ceramics", in which We create sound bags and sell them in a silent auction. Only, instead of bidding money, money the buyer canning, etc. to a food bank. In the end, autistic children our school to help us to discover the foor products. My teacher told me about was in charge, a PowerPoint presentation to illustrate the idea that autistic Children. It must explain what poverty is, why it is important to share what you have, what a food bank, etc. to the children. I have a hard time explaining in an easily understandable level. PLEASE HELP!
