What should I look for in purchasing Polish Pottery?
I'm missing some new dishes. am fascinated by the ebay Polish Pottery I have been finding I have to, but it seems different looks and sizes. Teller seem running 9-11 inches. Is there a brand to capture better than another. Are there fakes, and what do I need? Thank you!
The best way to find out how or whether something for collectors is to go to your local library and a book on the subject. I would not recommend collectibles as everyday meals, as they would have more chance of breaking, thus losing their value. As for fakes, books You enough knowledge to recognize counterfeits all, and you can talk antique dealer / china to find out even more. I would start buying models and sizes you like and then as you become more knowledge, branch out into the more collectible styles.
