Do you have information about the Pigeon Forge pottery?
The Pigeon Forge Pottery was founded in 1946 by Douglas Ferguson in. He created numerous sculptures Animals on the basis of the Smokey Mountain near Pigeon Forge, TN. Over the years many people went on vacation with family members of the pottery to the Elements to see made. As they left, they would pick a point or two in memory of their trip. If you want to share a story or information, please reply , we would like to hear it!
I live in Memphis, Tennessee, and I went to Pigeon Forge with my parents about 15 years ago. We saw the ceramics made and I think my parents picked up a few pieces. Whether they still have them, I have no idea. But I remember that now everyone! I plan on driving to Gatlinburg, TN in the next few months, the pottery store still open??
