baking pottery at home
Clay and ceramics to help! please!?

in making a vase for a friend, but all going to be prepared by their home to. I do not have a wheel or clay or a clay oven or kettle. Is there a sound can I use at home and bake or hardened that even? It is also possible to go home glaze or is there a paint or varnish so that it its shine when done? "If you know the answer to all these questions, I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Super Sculpey is your best bet. You do not need an oven (clay oven) SS bake in your regular home oven. You can then paint them like what kind of paint you. Then spray paint it with a flat or gloss spray acrylic sealer dries as Patricia Nimocks (by Plaid) to the paint. You could also you a sun-dried clay, it is just what it sounds, it dries in the air. Go to your local craft store like Hobby Lobby, etc. You Michales or you can right at the point direction. I taught Sculpture for years and still do, and your bet is the easiest Super Sculpey. Good luck!
